For the Boys: A 365 Day Photo Challenge

EEK!! I am beyond excited to share my big project for 2016.

I have been wanting to do this since I saw Baby Making Machine’s Love Letters years and years ago (yes, even before I had kids).

When I did have my first, I was ready. Eh hem, to complete two days. Being a first-time mom was hard.

I’ve tried a few years, with no ability to make it more than a few days.

But this year is different.

No seriously, I’m seven days in and rocking it.

Here’s how it works.

Each day I’m taking a picture of my boys – either individual or separate.

Next, I’m adding words of encouragement, a message or somethingย I want my boys to remember about the special moment.

I’m hoping they’ll look back at these messages and know that they are loved, not only by me, but their entire families.

Along with the challenge of taking a picture every day for 365 days. I’m trying to do this separately for both boys.

This year is different than my past attempts because I have PicMonkey on my side. It is incredible for editing photos.

Wish me luck for the next 300-something days.

  1. Oh, I love PicMonkey! Your boys are absolutely adorable. I bet you can do this, no problem. And if you miss a day-I always say fake it till you make it. Just throw in an extra photo from another day! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. I want to do the same! Such a great idea! But I don’t know if i’ll have the time to do the photo-editing and put the words on, let alone come up with good messages for my boys haha…
