A Jack in the Box Christmas

Christmas is almost more for the parents than for the kids. I have been dying to see these sweet reactions from my boys since I bought their presents.

You all know about the Jack-in-the-Box wish my son said would be his biggest surprise. Well, it didn’t quite play out that way.

I’ll give you a hint – this was not his reaction.

He came out to a way-too-big-spread of gifts. He had a huge smile when he saw his brother’s stack. When he looked at his stack, he paused for a moment, then said, “Oh, okay.”

Sorry to disappoint buddy.

He gets down to business and starts checking out his brand new cars collection. There’s a box sitting in the middle of it all. He says, “I’ll just move this box.” The picture above shows him doing just that.

You’ll just move this box! THIS is the box you said you would be most surprised by!!

He doesn’t notice anything about it. Seriously?! The crank is sticking out!

After prompting him, “What’s that sticking out of the side?”

A smile.

“A crank.”

He pulls it.

A Very Merry Christmas

The rest of the day was picture perfect. Speaking of, here’s a few more favorites.

Now my son is saying, “I can’t wait for the next Christmas!”

I hope you had a beautiful holiday!
